This specific class features a brass hoop with colorful cording woven into a southwest style pattern. The hoop is 14” in diameter with a 1-2” fringe around the edge.

Get comfortable with your sewing machine (or rent one of ours) and leave class with a trendy knot purse!

Each of our Macrame classes is a new project designed by instructor Pam ODea and every class features a new knot, new textures, and an array of colors for you to choose from.
This project is an adjustable plant hanger on a brass moon. Choose from multiple color combinations to create a beautiful display for a happy plant.
You will learn how to choose macrame cording, design a project, cast on, and multiple knots to use to create art for your home.

Learn basic embroidery stitches, focusing on stitches for florals. Make your own adorable bookmark to practice.

Learn the Japanese art of Sashiko in this slow-paced mindful class.
Sashiko is the practice of layering fabrics and patching with thick, colorful threads and decorative patterns.
Use pre-printed patterns on provided fabric or bring your own project to patch.
You will receive one piece of practice Sashiko fabric, one set of Sashiko needles, and get to choose from an array of items to work on during the second part of the class. This can include clothing, blankets, pillows and anything else the instructor offers.
Sashiko thread and scissors are provided. You are not required to bring any tools or projects to this class. Just an open mind and interest in learning a new art.
Sashiko is fabulous for reinforcing or patching knees and elbows on clothing or adding layers for extra warmth. A variety of fabrics can be used and no sewing machine is necessary!

Paper marbling techniques
What better way to adorn a special gift than with hand-marbled paper gift wrap?
Instructor, Pam, will teach multiple styles of marbling paper in this exciting class.
You will “float” inks on the surface of water, create patterns, then dip thick, specialty paper into the design to transfer it. Each participant will receive 5 sheets of large 19x25” paper to decorate with their choice of ink colors.
Use your art to wrap gifts, make cards, journal covers, or frame it.
All tools and materials provided.

Alterations are adjustments to the original clothing to enhance fit and comfort. Learn to take in clothing, hem a pair of pants, and how to know when a piece you are considering is a good option for alterations.
In this class you will: Take in a shirt (provided), hem a pair of trousers (provided), and learn how to analyze, plan, cut, pin, and sew different types of clothing and fabrics. A paper handout is provided to take home.
You may bring your own sewing machine or rent one of ours. Choose “Machine Rental” from the drop down menu next to your requested class date.
