Leatherworking - Loafers

  • 4145 N High Street Columbus, OH United States (map)

Learn to make your own leather shoes in this course designed to support sustainability and help you make your shoes last a lifetime.

Leather is a strong, durable product that you can repurpose time and time again and the design of these shoes allows you to replace the sole easily!

Use high quality leather, suede liner, a soft midsole and rubber or leather outsole to build a pair of foot hugging loafers.

These are intended as house shoes but, with your new knowledge, you will be able to wear them anywhere and replace the sole when the time comes.

Pam will show you how to design, cut, and assemble one pair of leather loafers. She will also share her resources for shoe materials, tools, and tips to repurpose leather.

There will be multiple leather and suede options for you to choose from too!
